I'll write about a few of the different styles of basement home theaters. This first style is my favorite. I call it the universal home theater. The nicest feature about this home theater in basement is you can put a projection screen on the wall, or a DLP on the floor, or an LCD or LED TV on the wall or nothing at all and they all look good. To enhance this we can add cultured rock or real stone to the inset portion of the niche or the outside section of the niche which consists of columns and arch. Another style of basement home theater is a built-in. One example of build a home theater is to have the theater wall in cultured rock but the TV is inset into this rock wall and trimmed out with knotty alder.
